Theatre and Script Development

Lexie trained as an actress at the London Academy Drama School in London and Le Studio D’Acteurs in Paris. In addition to physical theatre training at the London International School of Performing Arts and Theatre Studies at the University of Bergen.

With over 20 years experience in the field she has worked in comedy, drama, performance, stand up and script development.

More recently performing with the company Vinge/Mueller’s rendition of Henrik Ibsen’s Hedda Gabler at Det Norske Teateret, When the Bleeding Stops by Lovisa Osk Gunnarsdottir at Dansenss hus, and Hertz532/Lament a Butoh Opera with Nicolaysen and Brynjasdottir.

One of her areas of expertise is Human Rights and Documentary Theatre.

For 10 years, she worked for the London based Ice and Fire theatre company and Actors for Human Rights. She developed a script for Buskerud Teater in the municipality of Viken in Norway, and joined forces with the intergenerational and interdisciplinary arts collective Las Panuelas in exploring the subject of intimacy, trauma and marginalized voices with the scripted performance The Power of The Erotic: Tales of sexual discoveries from the margins.
